RESIDENTIAL POOL WARRANTY STATEMENT WARRANTY ON POOL SHELL AS LONG AS YOU OWN YOUR POOL
STEEL STRUCTURE
Frontenac Pools warrants that the steel shell structure will not collapse for as long as you own your pool. Frontenac Pools will repair the shell structure. The current owner shall have kept the pool in good operating condition and provided regular maintenance on said pool.
VINYL LINER
Frontenac Pools warrants this liner to the original purchaser free from defects in workmanship, for the life of the liner (10 years) on a pro-rated basis, as shown below. Examine your liner carefully when initially installed and follow proper winterization procedures. Frontenac pools is not responsible for tears or punctures caused by improper usage, handling, or chemical abuse. This warranty will cover defects from manufacturing i.e.) failed seam). Frontenac Pools can agree to replace or repair at its opinion any portion of the liner.
1st SEASON – NO CHARGE
2ND SEASON - 30% OF SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICES AT TIME OF REPLACEMENT
3RD SEASON – 40% OF SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICES AT TIME OF REPLACEMENT
4TH SEASON – 50% OF SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICES AT TIME OF REPLACEMENT
5TH SEASON - 60% OF SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICES AT TIME OF REPLACEMENT
6TH SEASON - 70% OF SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICES AT TIME OF REPLACEMENT
7TH TO 10TH SEASON - 80% OF SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICES AT TIME OF REPLACMENT
The warranty above is subject to the following conditions:
Proof of purchase
A season ends Dec.31st of the calendar year
You must keep your pool full of water at all times
Under no conditions will Frontenac Pools be responsible for labour charges, cost of loss of water or chemicals, or any other related damages that may occur
CONCRETE DECK
Frontenac pools will install your concrete around your pool under best construction practises i.e. ( gravel base, 32mpa with air concrete, fibre mesh reinforcement, control joint cuts and the best finishing practice), However we will not offer any warranty for any cracking, spalling, scaling, staining or pop outs. As this is to be expected in our region due to weather complications. We also do not warranty and color differences when installing colored concrete. We recommend sealing your concrete before every winter and to never place salt on your concrete
FULL ONE-YEAR WARRANTY*
Frontenac Pools warrants the skimmers, baskets, eyeball fittings, gauges, coping, lights, control panels*, actuator valves*, pumps*, filters*, and heaters* installed by Frontenac Pools in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty, against defects in workmanship or material for one (1) year. Please reference the sections concerning the Manufacturer’s Warranty and Limitations and Exclusions.
Frontenac Pools warrants the underground plumbing installed by Frontenac Pools against defects in workmanship or material for two (1) years. Please reference the section concerning Limitations and Exclusions.
There is no warranty on main drains in a pool and if they fail they will be decommissioned.
MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
All pool equipment, winter safety covers, automatic covers and their mechanisms, slides, diving boards/stands, fiber optic equipment, sports equipment, fountains and heaters are covered under the manufacturer’s written warranties. It is the new owner’s responsibility to read those warranties and register them with the manufacturer as required to have the full warranty activated and recognized past the Frontenac Pools one (1) year coverage.
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
Frontenac Pools is not liable for defects or damage caused by acts of God, accidents, abuse, misuse, exposure to fire or hazards of nature, including floods, ground faults, shifting or settling soil, improper drainage, maintenance, winterization or any occurrence that Frontenac Pools has no control over. Frontenac Pools is NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES caused by any defect including leakage. This warranty does not cover discoloration of the line, since it is due to the, local water conditions, improper use of chemicals or improper cleaning and maintenance. Frontenac Pools is not responsible for water, sewer or any other requirements to fill pool. Frontenac Pools will determine if and how items or equipment shall be repaired or replaced. Frontenac Pools is not responsible for matching color or brands no longer available, but will make every reasonable effort to match as closely as possible. Frontenac Pools reserves the right to substitute parts or items as deemed necessary. THIS IS Frontenac Pools SOLE WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO THE POOL STRUCTURE AND THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. All Warranties are void on any equipment that has been altered or serviced by anyone other than Frontenac Pools or its expressed agents as authorized by Frontenac Pools.
